Dear Pastor Sandy,
I want to thank you for your counseling ministry to me. God
really does work through willing hearts and you are proof of that.
For
those
who are looking for a Biblically-based Christ-centered Counselor who can
help you find God's truth to set you free, I would highly recommend
Pastor Sandy Johnson-Clark.
My story is too complex to give details so I will be brief. For
many years I was coping with several insecurities, many of which I was not
aware until I received counseling at the RAPHA Center. The pressure of these insecurities drove me to use men’s magazines
as a coping mechanism to provide me with self esteem. I coped when I was overwhelmed
with life’s pressure especially in relationship issues with the woman who
was the closest in my life.
Rejection,
abandonment fears, and lack of trust stemmed from having been
manipulated, lied to, and in a relationship with a woman who constantly
committed adultery then left the marriage. With the
help of Pastor Sandy and the light of God’s “word” to my heart shining
on the
right places in my soul, the lies I was believing about myself were
exposed.
Gradually over just a few sessions, I realized more and more truth.
The
experience was just as Jesus said, “whom the Son sets free, is free in deed.” God’s
gentle voice seemed to speak directly to me. God repaired that area and exposed
the truth about incorrect thinking in my heart.
Now I am free. I have been able to forgive, have
forgiven the woman, forgiven myself for allowing myself to cope in such a
way, have no
desire to look at any more of those pictures and have moved on in life. I was amazed at the changes in me
after receiving intense counseling during my sessions. I rejoice in my new life and in my future with all that God has for me.

counseling in letting God use you like He does.

Pastor Sandy,
It is with great joy that I share what God has done in my
body since our meeting. As you know I suffered with chronic digestive issues
for a long time. Since I was a teenager I had digestive issues and I did not
know why? I was diagnosed with IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. There were over
9 symptoms that presented themselves in addition to IBS.
Doctors had given different medications that did not work,
or did not work for very long.I found out later, through research and by the elimination
diet that I was gluten-intolerant. I could not eat any wheat based product or
anything that contained barley, rye or spelt. This of course greatly limited
what I could eat and I had to go on a gluten-free diet. I had to read every
label. I was resigned to the fact that I would be on this diet the rest of my
life. The gluten-free diet did help greatly but it was very
difficult, not to mention expensive.
When I came to the RAPHA Center I mentioned this issue to you. With your help
we allowed God to do His work. The truth was not in the fact that I was
allergic to gluten. He revealed that it was an emotional issue that manifested
itself in physical issues. I was amazed at what God did when we prayed together.
By the end of the
counseling session I knew I was free from the allergy. I was so sure of the
healing that I went out and got a pizza that very evening. There was no
reaction and there has not been an allergic reaction of any kind now for over a year.
I say thank you Jesus
and thank you Pastor Sandy for being God’s hand of blessing to me.

"I have known Pastor Don Clark for 25 years. I met him while he was ministering through music at a pastor’s conference. What gave us cause to pause was what the Lord was releasing through Don’s music.
